This CD package design was the first project of my Print Production class. We were allowed to choose any artist and song of theirs to theme our packaging around. I chose The National Parks and their song "Wildflower," as it was part of a larger album I listened to all summer driving around in Paradise Valley to and from my Visual Media Internship at Yellowstone National Park. 

I chose eight different wildflower species native to YNP to be the main motifs of my designs. These eight flowers, some of my personal favorites, corresponded with the eight tracks I chose to be part of this album design. The relationship between flowers, seeds, and personal growth were central themes throughout this project.

I love this band's sound, and I was glad to attempt capturing it while bringing in some personal design/narrative elements.
